New to Grow
Seeking therapy can feel overwhelming, and finding the right therapist is an important first step. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and substance use. My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without fear of judgment. My approach is warm, genuine, and collaborative. I believe therapy should feel like a conversation with someone who truly listens while also helping you challenge the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we’ll identify your strengths, process difficult experiences, and develop practical tools you can use outside of our sessions. I understand that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. Whether you’re navigating stress, working through past trauma, rebuilding after addiction, or simply trying to better understand yourself, I’ll meet you where you are. My hope is that you leave each session feeling heard, empowered, and more confident in your ability to move toward the life you want
Your first session is all about getting to know you. There is no pressure to share everything at once. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what’s currently happening in your life, and what you hope will be different as a result of our work together. I’ll ask questions to better understand your background, relationships, mental health history, and any challenges you’re experiencing, but this is also your opportunity to ask me questions and determine whether we’re a good fit. Together we’ll identify your goals, discuss what treatment may look like, and begin creating a plan that feels realistic and meaningful to you. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling supported, understood, and hopeful—not overwhelmed.
I believe the best therapy combines compassion with honesty. My clients know they’ll receive empathy and support, but they’ll also be gently challenged when necessary. Healing often requires looking at uncomfortable patterns, and I’ll help you do that in a way that feels safe and productive. I use evidence-based approaches while tailoring each session to the individual sitting in front of me. No two people have the same story, so no two treatment plans should look exactly alike. My background working with trauma survivors, individuals struggling with substance use, families, adolescents, and justice-involved populations has taught me the importance of resilience and meeting people without judgment. I focus on helping clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, improve relationships, and create lasting change—not just temporary relief. You can expect sessions that are conversational, collaborative, and focused on real-life solutions you can begin applying immediately.
My ideal client is someone who is ready to make meaningful changes in their life, even if they’re unsure where to begin. They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, stress, relationship challenges, or major life transitions, and they’re looking for a therapist who will provide both support and honest feedback. You don’t have to have all the answers or be in a perfect place to start therapy. I work well with clients who are curious about themselves, open to learning new skills, and willing to explore the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that may be keeping them stuck. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or simply want to better understand yourself, we’ll work together to create goals that feel achievable and meaningful. If you’re looking for a therapist who is compassionate, genuine, and willing to challenge you when needed, we may be a great fit.
Other specialties
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT helps us identify the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll recognize unhelpful thinking patterns, challenge negative beliefs, and develop healthier ways of coping so you can respond to life’s challenges with greater confidence.
Motivational Interviewing
Making changes can be difficult, especially when part of you wants things to be different while another part feels stuck. I use motivational interviewing to help you explore your own motivations, strengthen your confidence, and make changes that align with your personal values and goals.
Strength-Based
I believe every person has strengths, even during life’s most difficult seasons. Rather than focusing only on what’s wrong, we’ll identify your existing abilities, resilience, and support systems to help you build lasting confidence and overcome obstacles.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Sometimes you don’t need to spend every session revisiting the past. Solution-focused therapy helps us identify what’s already working, set achievable goals, and build practical strategies you can begin using right away.
Trauma Informed Care
I recognize that past experiences can affect how we think, feel, and relate to others today. I provide a safe, supportive environment where healing happens at your pace, without pressure or judgment.
