Hi there! I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner with experience in inpatient, crisis, and outpatient psychiatric care. I work with individuals ready to make meaningful change and step more fully into the life they want. I take a collaborative, goal-oriented approach, helping clients build insight, challenge unhelpful patterns, and develop practical tools for growth. I especially enjoy working with young adults finding their direction, busy adults balancing multiple roles, and older adults navigating life transitions—all with a focus on strengthening resilience, clarity, and confidence.
Our initial session is a 60-minute appointment focused on getting to know you and understanding your needs. We will complete a comprehensive assessment that includes your current concerns, past mental health history, medical background, and relevant family and social factors, along with anything else you feel is important to share. At the end of the session, we will collaborate on a personalized plan moving forward, which may include medication, blood work, resources, and practical lifestyle or mindset strategies to begin implementing between sessions.
I began my nursing career in medical-surgical care to build a strong foundation in the physical aspects of health, and later transitioned into inpatient psychiatry, where I had the privilege of supporting individuals during some of their most vulnerable moments. I now practice in outpatient psychiatry, where I bring together clinical expertise and genuine empathy to support clients across a range of needs. My experience working with both complex medical and mental health conditions allows me to take a thoughtful, holistic approach to care, meeting each person with respect, insight, and individualized support.
I work best with individuals who are ready to create meaningful change and willing to put in the effort it takes to build the life they want. My ideal clients are those who feel a pull to step into their strength—to “wake up the fighter” within them—and move toward a more aligned, fulfilling version of themselves. I enjoy supporting young adults as they navigate direction and identity, middle-aged adults managing the demands of busy, multifaceted lives, and older adults who are rediscovering themselves during times of transition. Together, we focus on building clarity, resilience, and purposeful action so you can move forward with confidence.

I use supportive therapy as a practical, relationship-centered approach to help my patients feel understood, stabilized, and more capable of managing their symptoms while building on their existing strengths. Rather than focusing on deep analysis or rigid techniques, I emphasize empathy, validation, reassurance, and collaborative problem-solving in the present moment. I help patients process current stressors, regulate emotions, and maintain daily functioning by reinforcing healthy coping strategies, strengthening insight, and fostering realistic hope. In my practice, I naturally integrate supportive therapy into medication management visits, using it to enhance engagement, reduce distress, and ensure that treatment decisions reflect the full emotional and psychological context of each patient’s experience.

I came to Ahuva because I wanted to be evaluated for ADHD, and from the very first appointment she made me feel comfortable. She is kind, friendly, and understanding, and she really took the time to listen without making me feel judged or rushed. It was easy to open up to her because of how welcoming she is. After struggling for a while, it feels like such a relief to finally find someone who genuinely wants to help. I’m so grateful I found Ahuva, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!
