About me

You don’t have to keep carrying everything on your own. Maybe you’re overwhelmed by anxiety, constantly overthinking, struggling in your relationships, or trying to move forward from experiences that still affect you. You may look like you’re holding everything together on the outside while feeling exhausted, disconnected, or stuck on the inside. I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, grief, family and relationship challenges, stress, and major life transitions. Therapy with me is a supportive, judgment-free space where you can slow down, feel heard, better understand yourself, and begin working through the things that have been weighing on you. You already have strengths within you—sometimes life just makes them harder to see. Together, we’ll work toward helping you feel more confident, connected, and in control while creating meaningful changes that actually fit your life.. You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. You just have to be ready to take the first step.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and you deserve a space where you can show up exactly as you are. In our session, you can expect a warm, compassionate, and judgment-free environment where you feel heard, understood, and supported. Together, we’ll explore what brought you to therapy, identify what may be keeping you feeling stuck or overwhelmed, and create a path forward that feels realistic and meaningful to you. Along the way, we’ll work on building healthier coping skills, increasing self-awareness and confidence, strengthening relationships, and helping you feel more in control of your emotions and your life. Whether you’re healing from difficult experiences, managing anxiety, navigating relationships, or simply trying to find your way through a challenging season, you don’t have to figure it all out alone. My goal is for you to leave therapy feeling more empowered, more connected to yourself, and better equipped to move forward with confidence and hope.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe therapy should feel personal—not like a one-size-fits-all approach. Every person comes to therapy with a different story, different experiences, and different goals, which is why I tailor our work together to what you need most. My approach is warm, collaborative, and empowering, with a focus on creating a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself, without fear of judgment. I draw from evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), attachment-based approaches, and strength-based interventions. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, PTSD, grief, relationship or family challenges, women’s issues, identity concerns, or simply feeling overwhelmed by life, we’ll work together to understand what’s keeping you stuck and identify what can help you move forward. Therapy isn’t just about managing symptoms—it’s about understanding yourself, healing from difficult experiences, building confidence in your ability to cope, and creating meaningful changes that last.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

When anxiety, stress, or difficult experiences begin affecting your relationships and sense of well-being, it can feel overwhelming trying to manage everything on your own. I work with adults, adolescents, and children navigating anxiety, trauma, family issues, stress management concerns, and life transitions. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling disconnected from themselves, struggling with emotional challenges, or finding it difficult to move forward after painful experiences. Whether you're coping with relationship difficulties, depression, grief, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can provide a supportive space for healing and growth. My goal is to help you rediscover your strengths, reconnect with yourself, and create meaningful change that supports your overall wellness.

My treatment methods

Child Parent Psychotherapy

Child-Parent Psychotherapy isn't just therapy for your child—it's therapy for your relationship with your child. Young children heal best through safe, supportive relationships. During our sessions, we'll work together to understand your child's behaviors, strengthen your connection, process difficult experiences, and build skills that help your child feel safe, understood, and emotionally regulated both at home and in everyday life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients recognize how their thoughts influence their emotions and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns, build healthier ways of thinking, and develop practical coping strategies to improve emotional well-being and daily functioning.

Compassion Focused

Many of us are much harder on ourselves than we would ever be on someone we care about. Compassion-Focused Therapy helps you understand why your inner critic developed and teaches you how to replace harsh self-judgment with self-compassion. This doesn't mean making excuses—it means learning to support yourself in a way that promotes growth instead of shame.

EMDR

Sometimes our brains don't fully process difficult experiences, causing those memories to continue affecting how we think, feel, and respond today. EMDR helps your brain reprocess those experiences so they no longer feel as overwhelming. Before we begin processing, we'll spend time building coping skills and making sure you feel prepared, supported, and in control throughout the process.

Gender-affirming therapy

Gender-affirming therapy is a space where you don't have to worry about being judged or misunderstood. Whether you're exploring your gender identity, navigating relationships, managing anxiety or depression, coping with discrimination, or simply looking for a therapist who affirms who you are, we'll work together to support your goals and overall well-being.
