My name is Kimberly Hart, licensed mental health counselor. I have worked with clients in several settings including public schools, behavioral hospitals, community agencies and churches. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting difficulties, codependency, life transitions, setting boundaries, problem-solving, and cognitive restructuring. I've helped many people who have experienced physical, sexual and emotional abuse. As a therapist, I seek to empower every being to be their most authentic, healthiest, happiest selves. I assist in the healing journey of growth, change and evolution through advocacy, coaching, consultation and self-awareness practices. I often tell my clients, "It’s not selfish to be self-FULL. You can only pour from an overflowing cup of self-love, self-esteem, and self-worth in the journey to self-discovery." Are you ready to define who you are and how you show up in the world?
I believe we are all capable of development, growth, change and evolution. I have done the work myself! In my Year of Self, I spent each month focused on a different aspect of self that allows for self-awareness and the development of self-identity. Knowing who we are and how to honor ourselves, allows for us to develop boundaries. It's not selfish to be self-FULL. You can only pour from an overflowing cup of self-love, self-esteem, and self-worth into the journey to self-discovery.
