I am invested in helping people to achieve better health and wellness. I am understanding of the issues that may contribute to someone feeling "stuck", and I would like to contribute to people feeling more heard, seen, and understood. I am passionate about helping people especially those that have gone through hardships or still are in the midst of challenges.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Examining one's own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors can lead to insight and improvements to develop resilience in every day life. Collaboratively, we can create short and long term goals that support your mental health goals using homework assignments to provide accountability. Meanwhile we can explore the patterns or barriers that contribute to overall outlook.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
This practice is adaptable to individual needs to provide distress tolerance skills, mindfulness, interpersonal skills, and acceptance. I am Certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and balance practicing new ways of being along side of accepting things as they are now.
Integrative
Integrating evidence-based clinical practices with theoretical orientations that support the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. The interplay allows for a holistic approach towards the behavior and psychology of health-promoting beliefs and attitudes individuals present with.
