Social work chose me! When I wrote my personal essay for my MSW, I realized social work had always surrounded me. I remember helping elderly neighbors, teaching friends how to count money, and researching services for my autistic brother. There were so many events between those gaps and yet to come. I always desired to help people. My brother’s diagnosis widened my eyes to my calling, but life had other plans for me and I became a secretary. As a secretary, I found myself being hired in the mental health arena, including the areas of AIDS research, mental health, addiction services, and college counseling. Social work is my second career but it's always been my first passion. I pull from both my personal and professional experiences and allow these experiences to teach and mold me.
A client can expect a relaxed conversation for me to better understand who you are as an individual and reason for coming to services.
My treatment approach is integrative, flexible, and unique to each individual. Treatment will focus on the needs and goals of each individual. My treatment modalities include psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapy.
Navigating through our feelings, emotions and thoughts alone is hard. Therapy creates YOUR space; a space to pick pieces apart and leave it all on the floor. You get to create your journey to who you need/want to be. Everyone has a story! Your strength will find your voice and create authentic destined to be. Don’t allow life events to narrate your story.
I am best positioned to "meet you where you are at". As mental heath targets everyone and has no age limit. I am ready to support individuals from preteen to elders (65+).

Ms. Robinson’s bio is what initially stuck out to me. It shouted a genuine passion instead of just some cookie cutter ChatGPT bio. My first session with Ms. Robinson has already shown truth to my initial perception. She is very authentic and very easy to talk to. I’m looking forward to our next session (:
