My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have always used CBT as an alternative modality to help clients change negative thought patterns and behaviors to promote emotional well-being. Therefore, the client can identify and challenge irrational beliefs, reconstruct cognitive distortion, and develop healthier coping strategies. I have used CBT together with medications to help my clients.

Play Therapy

Play therapy is a therapeutic approach that utilizes play as a medium for expressing and working through psychological issues and emotions, especially for children. The fundamental idea is that children naturally engage in play to communicate and make sense of their experiences. I usually apply Play therapy to address a variety of emotional, behavioral, and social difficulties in children.

Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Suicide Prevention (CBT-SP)

My aim in using CBT is to identify and address the cognitive and behavioral factors that contribute to suicidal thoughts and behaviors. These include Risk Assessment, Building Rapport, Psychoeducation, Identifying Triggers, and many more. My priority is the client's safety.
