I am a dual board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. My primary concern is to help you find and maintain your balance. My approach is holistic therefore I care about the mind, body, and spirit that I frequently refer to as the 3 hearts of the person. You deserve a safe space to discuss your concerns and I'm here to provide that and help you heal. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, post-traumatic disorder, etc the first step to self-care is reaching out for help. In our first session together, we go over general medical information and then discuss more specifics. The goal is to get a complete history so that we can establish our client provider relationship and I may help you on your journey.
I utilize mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, and medication management to help you maintain a healthy whole-self.
My biggest strengths include but are not limited to working with clients through anxiety, trauma, stress, relationships, depression, and mood disorders.

This was my first time in a while seeing a psychiatrist again and Dr. Elvira was so kind and thoughtful!! I felt very comfortable talking about my issues with her and she even came up with a detailed plan on how to move forward with my medications so I was very grateful for that. I highly recommend seeking treatment with her!
