Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Tennessee. I obtained my Master's from the University of Tennessee and have been practicing for 18 years. I work with adults 18+ and specialize in depression, anxiety/stress, mood disorders, addiction, relationship/family issues, grief and loss, self-esteem issues, and coping with life challenges and transitions. I tend to utilize various therapeutic modalities and methods, based on the needs of the client. My goal is to meet you where you are and move forward together, as we create a place for your growth and healing.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session is all about getting to know each other and more comfortable. I may ask questions regarding what has led you to seek therapy and what your focus areas are. My main focus will be to listen to your concerns and needs, and begin to build a better understanding of how to move forward to provide some relief and resolution.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My approach to providing therapy is rooted in genuineness, empathy, compassion, and being nonjudgemental. I strive to create a safe place for my clients to be able to open up and feel comfortable discussing anything they want to share. My communication style is calm, personable, and authentic. I want my clients to feel welcome and relaxed, and most importantly, to come just as they are. I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a therapist. I have always been drawn to helping others and being a support person along their path. I take pride in being a good listener, can offer sound advice, and provide a sense of calm in the storms of life. One of my greatest joys is seeing someone grow, heal, and become the best version of themselves.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

My experience has been centered around providing therapy services to adults of all ages. I have worked with college students who are struggling to adjust to being away from home for the first time, and with older adults who are struggling to remain in their homes due to loss of independence. I have assisted adults with major life transitions, relationship issues, addiction, mood disorders, and establishing a sense of balance and purpose in their lives. I believe everyone can access their own source of strength and resilience from within. My purpose is to gently help you along that process of personal growth.
