Hi! I'm a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Michigan. I am also licensed in the state of Ohio as a Licensed Independent Social Worker, with Supervisory designation (LISW-S). I received my Masters from The Ohio State University and have been practicing since 2011. I have extensive experience in working with individuals who are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. My background is rooted within a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy framework, along with training in Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we'll start with introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing, along with your goals for therapy. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. We will also reserve time for you to ask any questions about the therapy process, discuss scheduling and any potential barriers to treatment.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with young adults since 2011, I have gotten very comfortable with the necessary open and transparent communication to help progress through treatment. As a provider, I am laid back, empathetic, compassionate, and authentic. It is important to me that you feel respected and heard in every session.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I specialize in working with young adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, and grief. If you are ready to commit to your personal growth, I would be honored to work with you and accompany you along your journey.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a therapeutic treatment that helps in identifying thought processes, emotional responses, and behaviors that may contribute to difficulties. We will collaborate to identify, question, and change these thoughts, responses, and behaviors through the use of practice between sessions.

Strength-Based

We will work together to identify the strengths that already exist within you and apply those strengths to adverse situations/hardships.
