I work with clients from diverse backgrounds, including those managing postpartum changes, addiction recovery, and emotional distress.
My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to take meaningful steps toward healing. By combining evidence-based treatments like CBT and interpersonal therapy, I tailor care to each client’s unique needs, promoting long-term emotional and mental well-being.
First session
In our first session, I focus on building a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing your story. We’ll discuss your current concerns, relevant history, and treatment goals. I’ll also explain how I approach care and answer any questions you may have. This session is about getting to know you and creating a personalized plan to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
Strengths
I bring a calm, empathetic presence to each session, paired with clinical expertise in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and ADHD. My ability to listen deeply and adapt care to each individual’s unique needs helps clients feel seen and supported. My background as a psychiatric nurse practitioner allows me to integrate both therapeutic and medication management approaches for a well-rounded plan of care.
Ideal clients
I work best with clients who are motivated to understand their emotions, improve their relationships, and develop healthier coping strategies. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, past trauma, or significant life transitions such as new parenthood or recovery from substance use. They value a collaborative, nonjudgmental therapeutic space and are ready to explore both the roots of their struggles and practical solutions. Whether you’re overwhelmed, feeling stuck, or simply seeking a better version of yourself, I’m here to walk that journey with you.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. Through structured sessions, I guide clients in developing healthier coping strategies, improving emotional regulation, and building problem-solving skills. This evidence-based approach is particularly effective for clients struggling with anxiety, depression, and ADHD.
Interpersonal
I use Interpersonal Therapy to help clients explore how relationship dynamics impact their mental health. By addressing patterns of conflict, role transitions, grief, and social isolation, I support clients in improving communication, building stronger connections, and enhancing emotional well-being. This method is especially beneficial for individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, and life changes.
