About me

Since 2020, I have practiced as a family and psychiatry mental health nurse practitioner, providing care to multigenerational families. With my knowledge and respect for the ancient wisdom of healing connections between mind, body, spirit, and soul, I provide culturally congruent individual and family-centered care. Trauma Informed Care

Maya was trained by Dr. Bessel van der Kolk, featuring 25 of today's leading trauma experts, and she received a Trauma Research Foundation certificate in traumatic stress specialty. Her extensive training in the fields of family and psychiatric mental health led her to a unique understanding of a humanistic approach to holistic care. Her education includes a Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializations.
