I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and the founder of Authentically Me Therapy, where I help people who are tired of shrinking, faking, or fixing everything for everyone else. My approach blends deep reflection, creative tools, and grounded conversation. Therapy with me is equal parts warmth and truth—you’ll be challenged when needed, affirmed when it matters, and reminded that healing doesn’t mean becoming someone new. It means coming home to who you’ve always been.
In our first session, we’ll take time to slow down and really get to know what’s been weighing on you. I’ll ask some questions to understand your story, your stressors, and what brings you to therapy now—but it won’t feel like an interview. You’ll have space to be real, take a breath, and not have it all figured out. My goal is for you to walk away feeling heard and with a small sense of relief, even if just for showing up.
I know how to hold space for complexity. Clients tell me they feel safe to say the hard things without judgment and that I’m able to “name the thing under the thing.” I bring a calming presence, honest feedback, and creative strategies that meet you where you are. My background in education, faith, and mental health helps me connect with people who are navigating layered stories. You don’t have to perform here. You just get to be.
I work best with adults navigating transitions, burnout, people-pleasing, anxiety, and the feeling of not quite knowing who they are outside of what they do for others. Many of my clients are deep feelers who’ve learned to survive by staying strong for everyone else—but now they’re ready to focus on their own healing. Whether you’re working through codependency, spiritual exhaustion, self-doubt, or just trying to feel like yourself again, we’ll approach it together with honesty, creativity, and care.
I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) by helping clients identify their values, build psychological flexibility, and use mindfulness to navigate difficult emotions and thoughts.
My approach is trauma-informed, ensuring that clients feel safe, empowered, and in control of their healing process as they work through past experiences.
I use Gestalt therapy to help clients stay present and gain insight into their emotions, patterns, and past experiences through experiential techniques.
With Narrative therapy, I help clients explore and reshape the stories they tell about themselves, externalizing struggles and reclaiming their personal power.
I take a Person-Centered approach, creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly heard and supported in their personal growth.
