Your first session is simply for us to get to know one another and begin the rapport building process. We will discuss your reasons for seeking help, goals, confidentiality, and creating a safe environment for you to start your path forward in a healthy manner.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Maya Angelou has a saying ... "When you don't like a thing, change it. If you can't change it, change the way you think about it" That saying has power and is why CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) are primary therapeutic approaches in my daily practice.

I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming life situations and things that challenge you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier like takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
