Reyna Zascirinskis
I'm Reyna! I have experience offering mental health treatment to folx who are neurodivergent and navigating our neurotypical world and the challenges that come along with that. I support individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and identity exploration. I work with the LGBTQ+ community, especially including gender affirming care.
First session
Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, explore how you would like therapy to benefit your life, and determine areas of focus for our work together moving forwards.
Strengths
My therapeutic style is relational and solution oriented. I work alongside my clients, empowering and allowing them to utilize session time in ways that are most beneficial to their growth towards their goals. I offer creativity and light in supporting clients with life's challenges. I can speak in metaphors and memes to help you feel supported and understood.
Ideal clients
I love working with teenagers and young adults going through big life transitions such as middle to high school, high school to college, and college into the world. I'm comfortable working with folx with anxiety, depression, grief, SI/SIB, identity exploration, social troubles. I welcome individuals into treatment with me regardless of any prior experiences with therapy or lack there of, and uncertainty about therapy and the therapeutic process is also welcome here.
Treatment methods
Person-centered (Rogerian)
My approach to clients is relational and chill. I try to allow clients to feel both supported and in control of the pacing of therapy. I won't ever require you to discuss certain topics or go at any pace that feels uncomfortable.
Strength-Based
I look to empower and encourage every individual I work with to see and discover the best parts of themselves.
