Hi! I'm Porscha Stevens, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Supervisor (LCSW-S) based in Texas. I am from Chicago, IL where I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago and my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Illinois State University. My purpose and passion is to enhance the quality of life for those who see it fit; so, lets discover, transform, and heal into a better version of self!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

While therapy can be intimidating, my hope is to provide a space where you feel safe, seen, heard, validated, supported, and empowered. In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Clients who work with me appreciate my authentic "down-to-earth" personality, gentle humor, and simplified collaborative approach. I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

With 10 years of experience, I specialize in trauma/stress-related issues, anxiety, depression/mood-related issues, domestic violence, family/relationship issues, suicidal ideation/self-harm, self-esteem, and life adjustments/daily stressors. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, and down about themselves, their relationships, and/or the realities of their day-to-day lives.
