Hi, I am Tamara Spears, LMSW, SPADA and I am a graduate of Western Michigan University where I obtained my Clinical Social Work Degree in 2003 with a certificate to treat co-occurring disorders for those addicted to alcohol and drugs.
The initial session with me will be client-centered, warm, supportive and an opportunity for the client to feel heard and seen while sharing their experiences and needs.
I am a fully licensed clinical therapist with over 20 years of Social Work experience. My experience is broad, but detailed. I have worked in many different areas from psychiatric hospitals to the school settings and domestic violence shelters. I have a heart for people and want to see everyone succeed. I enjoy working with women and adolescent females who are motivated to make a better life for themselves and others, but are challenged by mental illness and/or behavioral problems.
