I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with experience working in Community-based, and Outpatient mental health settings. I have a passion for working with individuals and couples to help them navigate life's transitions and develop skills to thrive. My specialties include depression, anxiety, panic, and relationships. I have experience working with children, teens, and adults utilizing an integrated approach to tailor therapy to each person's unique needs and preferences. Modalities I use include CBT, EFT, EMDR, ACT and Person Centered therapies.
My hope is always that clients feel like they are heard, understood, and encouraged to grow in a way that feels safe. Sometimes therapy feels like a workout and everyone comes to the 'gym' with different needs and experiences. My aim is always to collaborate with you to find what works best for you.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Person-centered therapy Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Emotionally Focused therapy (EFT) Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)
My early training in an EFT clinic was heavily focused on attachment theory- so I always strive to help people learn to connect in healthy ways. I believe in showing up as genuinely as possible because the therapeutic relationship is a great practice-run for working on relationships outside of the therapy hour.
