Let’s be real — life gets heavy. Grief that won’t lift. Anxiety that never shuts up. Trauma that still shows up in your body. Relationships that drain you. You’re tired of overthinking, pretending you're fine, or feeling stuck in patterns you can’t name but deeply feel. Maybe you’re grieving someone. Maybe you’re grieving yourself. Whatever you're carrying, you don’t have to carry it alone. Therapy is a space to exhale, unpack the weight, and finally shift — not by force, but with support that meets you where you are. I’m a therapist with over 20 years of experience supporting adults through the messiness of real life. I specialize in mood disorders like anxiety and depression, personality disorders, grief and loss, trauma, relationship dynamics, aging, and women’s issues. I also support people navigating phase-of-life changes — whether that’s your twenties or eighties. My approach is warm, collaborative, real, and grounded in respect for your story, pace, and resilience. While therapy isn’t always easy, it can be incredibly freeing. You’ll be met with compassion, depth, and a touch of humor — because even in the dark, we need light. Therapy can be a turning point — let’s take the next step, together.

My treatment methods

Daialectical Behavior (DBT)

I am certified (C-DBT) in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and utilize DBT to assist clients with emotional dysregulation, distress tolerance skills building, and improving interpersonal skills. This treatment method is especially beneficial for post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), borderline personality disorder, (BPD), anxiety, and self-harming behaviors.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness based therapy is especially effective in the treatment of anxiety, emotional dysregulation, distress tolerance, stress, grief, PTSD, and depression. I utilize mindfulness based therapy which helps us to be more intentionally aware, engaged, and present with what is happening in the moment. It involves being in the moment. I often say, "When we have one foot in the past and one foot in the future, we should on today."

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) involves helping one understand how thoughts lead to feelings and how we can examine our beliefs to better understand how they distort our thoughts, which often lead to negative feelings. Thoughts and feelings lead to behaviors. CBT helps to develop practical ways to identify, challenge, and replace unhelpful response patterns with more adaptive, healthy, feelings, thoughts and behaviors. I utilize CBT in the treatment of depression, anxiety, borderline personality, and bipolar disorders.
