(he/him)
I am a dual FNP-C and PMHNP-BC. As a psychiatric provider, I take time to listen to my clients’ concerns and symptoms. I believe in helping clients of all ages with mental health issues achieve better outcomes by developing individualized treatment plans in a holistic and centered approach to care. My session with any client is comprehensive. I can conduct my evaluation in English, Spanish, French, or Haitian-Creole. My multinational academic background enables me to understand and comfortably care for people from different cultures. As a psychiatric provider, I take time to listen to my clients’ concerns and symptoms.. Helping clients to achieve better outcomes in a centered and holistic approach that's my motivation.
A calm, welcoming start: I'll begin by briefly reviewing confidentiality, answering any initial questions, and helping them settle in. This sets the tone for a collaborative, respectful working relationship. A thorough clinical conversation: I ’ll invite them to share what’s been going on—symptoms, stressors, history, and goals. This is a structured but conversational assessment that may include: Current concerns — what prompted them to seek help now. Past mental health history — previous therapy, medications, or diagnoses. Medical background — relevant health conditions or treatments. Lifestyle factors — sleep, stress, routines, and support systems. Clients don’t need to prepare anything; I guide the conversation at a pace that feels manageable. A collaborative understanding of their needs: y the end of the session, I’ll summarize what you’ve learned and reflect back the themes you’re noticing. This helps clients feel heard and ensures I am aligned on next steps. Discussion of treatment option: Depending on the situation, We may talk about: Whether ongoing therapy, medication, or both might be helpful. What future sessions will focus on. Any additional assessments that could clarify the picture. This is an informational conversation—not a commitment. Clients are encouraged to ask questions and express preferences. A clear plan for moving forward: I’ll end by outlining what comes next: follow‑up scheduling, what to expect between sessions, and how to reach you for non‑urgent matters. The goal is for clients to leave feeling oriented and supported. We will start with brief introduction; then dive into the challenges my client is facing . Together we can tailor the treatment plan
I combine psychotherapy and medication management within a single, continuous therapeutic relationship, something few other mental‑health professions can offer. I am trained in both pharmacology and evidence‑based therapy techniques, allowing me to treat the whole person rather than splitting care across multiple providers. This dual‑modality model improves adherence and accelerates symptom recovery. Empowering patient to be able to normally function and finish all their task without problems.
I love working with clients who are motivated towards their treatment goals. These are the people who tend to benefit most from my approach: People in life transitions — navigating breakups, career shifts, moves, or identity changes, often feeling unmoored or overwhelmed. Clients with chronic stress or emotional overload — they’re functioning, but internally stretched thin. Individuals stuck in repeating patterns — relationship cycles, self‑criticism loops, avoidance habits. People who “think their way through everything” — high achievers, analytical minds, or those who intellectualize emotions. Clients seeking deeper self-understanding — they sense there’s more beneath the surface and want help accessing it. I work especially well with clients who: Are self-aware enough to know something isn’t working but unsure how to change it. Value insight and reflection but also want concrete steps. Are open to being gently challenged when it helps them grow. Want a collaborative relationship rather than a one‑sided expert dynamic. Are motivated by meaning and authenticity — they want to live in alignment with who they truly are. I am especially effective with clients who are “in the middle”: not in acute crisis, not complacent, but in that uncomfortable space where they know they’re ready for change—even if they’re scared of it. They’re reflective, motivated, and willing to do the work when they feel supported and understood.

Compassion Focused
Compassion-focused therapy (CFT) is a form of psychotherapy that aims to cultivate compassion and self-compassion in individuals. It is based on the idea that humans have an innate capacity for compassion, but this capacity can be suppressed by negative experiences.
