I am a licensed clinical professional counselor with private practice experience, as well as inpatient units in hospitals and advising students in high schools. I have a reputation for being empathic, an active listener, and having versatile ability to relate to others challenges. I have been recognized for building and sustaining trusting, positive relationships with my clients, along with my use of humor to connect with others in session.
Clients are able to feel at ease by the end of their first sessions with me. I enjoy having a conversation about what brings people to therapy, whether it is their first time or looking to continue with someone new. I like to create a safe space through active listening, empathy, and compassion, so clients feel comfortable with sharing their trials and tribulations so find healing and support.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I implement methods to reframe negative thinking to reduce irrational thoughts, and alleviate anxiety and depression. By understanding how irrational thinking affects mood can help create change to negative thinking.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I implement tools such as meditation, coloring, puzzles, exercise and journaling to help increase positive behaviors, as well as reduce stress and improve overall coping skills
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I implement interventions to understand the connections between thoughts, and how they affect emotions and behaviors. It helps clients accept their lives as they are, and change the unhelpful behaviors to live more fulfilling lives

Felt very comfortable from the beginning and her validation helped calm me.

After a month or two of a break, we picked up where we left off and had a lot of growth in association to how communication can be improved via interposal relationships. Not only am I dealing with family death grief, I have gotten out of an abusive and neglectful relationship/marriage, and have my safe space with Holly as a wonderful means to help deal with emotional overwhelm. Identifying patterns to avoid any anxiety and depression is a huge win when it comes to brainstorming with Holly.

She’s very understanding and accepting and I look forward to our next session after I’ve completed the worksheets she gave me.
