My counseling style is pretty laid back. I have been described as supportive, thoughtful, and empathetic, with a pretty good sense of humor. I specialize in child, teen, and young adult therapy. I began my career in behavioral therapy, before pursuing my master's in social work. Academically I specialized in lifespan development and disability advocacy. I have had experience working in home, clinic, school, government, and hospital settings. I am also a certified Animal Assisted Therapist, and my Therapy Dog Trekk is available to accompany our sessions on request!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I feel sharing experiences helps bring us together and support our pursuit of goals! My personal experience with navigating invisible disabilities has taught me the importance of being realistic and coping with changes.
