Many people struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, navigating friendships, connecting with your partner or building stronger family dynamics, but I am here to help. No matter how big or small the problem is, no one should face life challenges alone. I would be happy to be part of your journey of healing, seeking self-acceptance and optimal fulfillment to live your best life. My hope for our work together is that you complete therapy with a better understanding of self, emotions, behaviors and a unique toolbox to manage any stressors. I utilize person-in-environment approaches, where we are able to look at how the different domains of life are impacting you and vice versa. As a therapist, I am collaborative, exploratory, and realistic, which also means that I will challenge you to expand your perspective about yourself, emotions, thoughts, behaviors, relationships, family dynamics, etc. Being vulnerable is scary! In my practice, I view therapy as a collaborative process, where you are the expert of your life and experiences and I can help you to figure out where you want to go and how you want to get there. I welcome you to ask as many questions as possible to see if I am the right therapist for you. Nothing is off the table!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will spend time collecting information on why you are seeing therapy, past history, and follow-up questions I have from the intake you completed. We will spend some time getting an understanding how I practice as a therapist and policies for my practice. You will have the opportunity to ask me any questions you may have. We will utilize our first session as a way to get to know one another.
