(she/her)
Hello, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California. I earned my Master of Social Work from California State University, Fullerton. With nine years of professional experience, I have assisted patients dealing with anxiety, depression, identity issues, and trauma. Additionally, I have experience supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals through their transition process. I have worked with adults and worked in outpatient settings.
In our initial session, we will begin with brief introductions and work to understand the challenges you are facing. We will then collaborate to establish and create achievable goals that are tailored specifically to your needs.
In my professional role, I create a non-judgmental and secure environment for patients to share their experiences and the challenges they encounter. I support them in taking charge of their lives.
The clients I work with are open to and ready for change in their lives, yet they lack the necessary skills to achieve their goals. Some of their challenges may stem from unresolved trauma, which manifests as anxiety or depression.
Strength-Based
In this method, I concentrate on examining attributes that are unique to the client, utilizing this strategy for personal development to enhance their wellbeing. I engage in a collaborative process with my clients, drawing on their individual experiences and resilience.
Trauma Informed Care
We collaborate to offer psychoeducation about trauma and develop skills to process the trauma that individuals have endured. We also examine the signs and symptoms of trauma with clients and their families who are engaged in the system.
