Hello! As a dual-board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, I understand the important relationship of the mind/body connection using a holistic approach. I provide diagnostic services, medication management, and therapy to clients of all ages across the lifespan. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and also specialize in PTSD, anxiety, depression and ADHD. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I find it helpful if you can fill out as much paperwork and screening tools ahead of your first visit, so that we can spend time talking and developing a plan of care and set goals together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am a great listener with a lot of empathy in my heart for what people have experienced in their lives, realizing we have all walked down different paths in different shoes. I use my listening skills, combined with my medical and therapeutic knowledge and experience help you get closer to your goals.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, I combine various types of therapy such as CBT, mindfulness, motivational interviewing and positive psychology and tailor it to your needs. I also incorporate an integrative approach which results in more holistic treatment of the mind and body.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I combine CBT with other therapies such as mindfulness for a complete approach to helping decrease anxiety, and depression.

Mind-body approach

Using a holistic approach, I address the mind-body connection using integrative techniques and thinking "outside the box". This may involve meditation, sound therapy, recommendations of certain supplements, etc. The body can hold the stress that the mind has experienced and manifest it in illness affecting the body. I help you recognize and try to process those stressors resulting in a healthier you.
