You may be dealing with trauma, depression, or anxiety. You may be so overwhelmed that you don't know what to do. I will say this to you. Your feelings and emotions are completely normal given your experience. I want to help you by walking with you through this difficult time to deal with the emotions that you are causing you discomfort. Stress, when outside of our control, can negatively impact our relationships, our experience at work and confuse our sense of self. Whether coming from life experience, internal struggles or a mix of the two, it can help to have someone available to help organize feelings, thoughts, and the direction we wish to go I specialize in working with clients ages fourteen years of age and older to navigate through difficulties with emotions, substance abuse, trauma, and life transition. My approach as a clinician is to take the individual strengths, personality, and situation of the person and combine it with the therapy approach that works best for the client. It is my goal to empower you with the tools and knowledge that you need to navigate your current struggles while also developing the resiliency to face the future challenges that may come your way. By working together, I want to assist you in not only feeling better but in also reaching the life that you deserve.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

You can expect me to spend time getting to know them in the first session as well as me telling you about my experience as a therapist. I believe this is important for clients to feel comfortable. I will also do an assessment. You can also expect me to spend time helping exploring with you what goals you want to accomplish in therapy.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I take the personality, strengths, and situation of the client and utilize the treatment methods that you are best for each individual client. This may be cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic, solution- focused or several other therapy approaches

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe my greatest strengths as a therapist are my ability to form a good relationship with my clients where they feel safe to work explore and work on the issues that brought them to therapy. Another one of m strengths is the way that I am able to see strengths, talents, and abilities in my clients that they are not aware of and help them to cultivate these qualities to achieve their goals
