Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During your first session with me, you can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment. We will complete a comprehensive evaluation that explores your current concerns, mental health history, medical background, medications, lifestyle, and goals for care. I will listen carefully to your story, validate your experiences, and ensure you feel heard and understood. Together, we will discuss diagnosis considerations, treatment options, and evidence-based recommendations. If medication is appropriate, we will review benefits, risks, side effects, and alternatives to support informed decision-making. Psychotherapy will focus on understanding patterns, building insight, and developing practical coping strategies tailored to your needs. The session is collaborative, respectful, and paced for your comfort. By the end, you will leave with clarity, a personalized treatment plan, and next steps designed to support your healing, stability, and overall well-being.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my therapeutic approach is the integration of compassionate, patient-centered care with evidence-based medication management and psychotherapy. I take time to truly listen, understand the whole person, and build a trusting, collaborative relationship. My approach is practical, culturally sensitive, and goal-oriented, focusing on lasting symptom relief, emotional insight, and improved daily functioning.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve individuals seeking compassionate, collaborative mental health care who want either Therapy or medication management as stand alone or both medication management and psychotherapy in one setting. I work well with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related concerns, life transitions, and stress-related challenges. I am especially supportive of clients who value understanding their symptoms, developing coping skills, and actively participating in their treatment. I also work well with those open to growth, self-reflection, and creating sustainable changes to improve emotional balance, clarity, and overall quality of life.
