I am a highly trained psychiatrist. I got my medical degree from UCLA School of Medicine and completed my residency at UCSF. I trained at n both psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. I also trained both emergency and acute care psychiatry. I grew up in Los Angeles but now live in Northern California. When I am not working or spending time with my family and friends, I enjoy hiking with my dog and hanging out with horses.
In my first session I will spend time getting to know toh wait! he client. I need to truly understand them to be able to help them overcome what is troubling to them.
I am an experienced psychiatrist. I have an extensive background in psychopharmacology and psychotherapy.
I think I do best with clients in their mid 20s through 60-70. I am pretty lively and interactive and engaging. I can be direct but it’s usually in a kind manner.
Eclectic therapy is an integrated approach to psychotherapy that combines techniques from multiple therapeutic modalities to taylor treatment to a clients specific needs. Instead of adhering to one theoretical framework, I use various approaches such as CBT, psychodynamic, and humanistic therapy.
