New to Grow
I strive to create a therapy space that feels safe, supportive, and down-to-earth. My approach is compassionate, honest, and collaborative. I want clients to feel understood and not judged, while also feeling supported in making meaningful changes. In my practice, I help clients better understand themselves, recognize patterns, build coping skills, and move toward healing at a pace that feels manageable.
In your first session, we will talk about what led you to therapy and what you would like support with. You do not have to have everything figured out before starting. I will ask questions to better understand your experiences, goals, and needs, and we will begin identifying what may be most helpful for you moving forward.
I bring a balance of warmth, honesty, and practical support to my sessions. My life and professional experiences have helped me understand that people need different things at different times. Some moments call for quiet support and validation, while others call for gentle challenge, reflection, or accountability. I work to meet clients where they are while also helping them move toward growth, healing, and a stronger sense of self.
I am best positioned to serve clients who are navigating anxiety, trauma, attachment wounds, relationship stress, self-worth concerns, or major life transitions. Many of my clients are trying to better understand themselves, recognize patterns, manage emotions, and develop healthier ways of coping. I work well with clients who are open to reflection, want to build insight, and are ready to take meaningful steps toward healing and growth at their own pace.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we will look at patterns that may be keeping you stuck and identify practical ways to respond differently. This can be helpful for anxiety, depression, stress, self-doubt, and other challenges that affect daily life.
Psychoanalytic
I use a psychoanalytic approach to help clients better understand themselves, their patterns, and how past experiences may still affect them today. This does not mean we only focus on the past. Instead, we use your experiences, relationships, emotions, and recurring themes to build insight and support meaningful change.
Attachment-based
I use attachment-based therapy to help clients understand how important relationships have shaped the way they view themselves, others, and the world around them. Together, we may explore patterns in relationships, communication, boundaries, trust, and emotional needs. This approach can be helpful for clients who feel stuck in repeated relationship patterns or want to better understand why certain connections feel difficult.
Trauma Informed Care
I use trauma-informed care by creating a space that feels safe, respectful, and collaborative. We will move at a pace that works for you and focus on helping you feel more grounded, understood, and supported. This approach recognizes that difficult experiences can affect the mind, body, relationships, and sense of self, and healing often begins with feeling safe enough to explore those experiences.
Strength-Based
I use a strength-based approach to help clients recognize the skills, values, and resilience they already have. Therapy is not only about what feels difficult; it is also about noticing what is working and building from there. Together, we will identify your strengths and use them to support growth, confidence, and meaningful change.
