I’m a naturally curious person with a passion for learning & understanding. I strive to truly understand my clients, help them to identify their needs & help to support them exactly where they are in life. I appreciate clients who remain open & willing to consider trying something new & different to benefit their overall well-being. I offer clients a safe space to explore their inner complexities & plan for change.
In the first intake session we will explore the primary concerns & symptoms that have prompted therapy & make a plan for the coming days/weeks moving forward.
My greatest strengths as a therapist are my curiosity, my ability to listen & to connect with my clients. I also offer strategies to identify & rework areas in need of change to help clients improve their well-being & feel better in daily life.
I am best positioned to serve clients who are not in crisis, fairly flexible in scheduling & open to the ongoing process & commitment of therapy.
I use cognitive behavioral strategies in my work with clients to help identify and change painful and problematic patterns of thought, feeling & behavior.
I use mindfulness based strategies in therapy too help sooth and alleviate stress.
I use solution focused strategies in my work to help clients quickly achieve their goals.
I use dialectical behavior strategies with clients who are looking to radically accept life’s challenges and incorporate coping skills to manage the moment while simultaneously working towards change.
