Hello! I am an independently licensed social worker practicing in MA. I graduated from the University of South Florida with my Bachelor of Social Work in 2018 and went on to earn my Master of Social Work from Smith College. I currently work with folks experiencing a wide array of mental health concerns including addiction, depression, anxiety, psychosis, suicidal ideation, and non-suicidal self-injury.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, I will ask you some questions about why you are seeking therapy, how long your concerns have been going on, and what you are looking for in terms of support. Our first session will also be your opportunity to ask me questions about my experience and determine if you feel like I am the right fit for your needs. Together, we will make a treatment plan that is tailored to you and will be the guide for our work together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Having six years of experience in residential and crisis settings, not much rattles me. I can hold your emotional experiences without becoming overwhelmed or feeling like you are "too much." Additionally, while I take my work seriously, I have a sense of humor and am open to laughter during sessions when it is appropriate.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with young adults who are learning to navigate their mental health and gain skills to manage distressing situations. Many of my clients are neurodivergent, college students, and/or young professionals.

My treatment methods

Motivational Interviewing

I have trained extensively in the use of MI and often use it in my practice to help you identify your values and goals.

Psychodynamic

In graduate school, I learned many types of psychodynamic therapy and how to apply them while working with individuals. A psychodynamic approach seeks to get to "the root of the issue," so I may use this during session to help you understand how past experiences influence your current values and beliefs.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

While I do not offer a full DBT protocol, I do often use aspects of DBT in my work including helping folks learn skills to increase emotional regulation and decrease distressing thoughts.
