Life doesn't always go the way we expect, and sometimes we find ourselves feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or simply not like ourselves. If you're here, you've already taken one of the hardest steps by reaching out for support. I'm passionate about helping women navigate some of life's biggest transitions. I specialize in working with women experiencing pregnancy and postpartum depression and anxiety, PMDD, perimenopause, and menopause. These seasons of life can bring significant emotional, physical, and hormonal changes that often leave you wondering, "What's happening to me?" You don't have to figure it out alone. I also work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, stress, and other life transitions. Whatever brings you to therapy, my goal is to provide a space where you feel comfortable being yourself—without fear of judgment. I want you to feel heard, understood, and supported as we work through life's challenges together. I believe therapy works best when it's a partnership. You are the expert on your life, and my role is to listen, offer guidance, and provide evidence-based tools that help you better understand yourself and navigate the obstacles standing in your way. Every person is different, so I tailor therapy to meet your unique needs while helping you build practical skills that you can use long after our sessions end. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, feeling overwhelmed by life's changes, or trying to find your way through a difficult season, you don't have to do it alone. Thank you for considering me to be part of your story. I look forward to supporting you as you work toward feeling more like yourself again.
Your first appointment is all about getting to know you. We'll spend time discussing what brought you to therapy, your personal history, your current concerns, and what you hope to achieve through treatment. This session also gives us an opportunity to begin building a strong therapeutic relationship, because I believe trust and connection are essential to meaningful progress. There is no pressure to share everything during our first meeting. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you while gathering the information needed to develop a treatment plan that reflects your unique needs and goals. You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions about the therapy process and what you can expect moving forward. To make the most of our time together, all intake paperwork, consent forms, and questionnaires must be completed before your scheduled appointment. If the required paperwork has not been submitted prior to your intake session, your appointment will be rescheduled until all forms have been completed. I understand that taking the first step can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. My goal is to provide a welcoming, supportive environment where you can feel comfortable sharing your story and taking the first steps toward positive change.
One of the things I hear most often from clients is that I'm easy to talk to. Therapy with me feels less like sitting across from someone taking notes and more like having a meaningful conversation with someone who is genuinely listening and invested in helping you. I believe the best therapy happens when you feel comfortable enough to be yourself. My goal is to create an environment where you can be honest about what's going well, what's been difficult, and everything in between—without fear of judgment. I take the time to truly listen, validate your experiences, and help you make sense of what you're going through. While our conversations are natural and relaxed, they are also purposeful. I don't believe in simply listening and sending you on your way. Together, we'll identify patterns, explore what's contributing to your current challenges, and develop practical tools you can use outside of our sessions. My hope is that each appointment leaves you feeling heard, supported, and with something meaningful to take with you. Above all, I want therapy to feel like a place where you can exhale, be yourself, and know that you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone.
I work with adults ages 18 and older who are ready to prioritize their mental health and take meaningful steps toward change. You don't have to have everything figured out—just a willingness to begin. I have a special passion for supporting women navigating pregnancy, the postpartum period, PMDD, perimenopause, and menopause. I also work with ALL adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, stress, and life transitions. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for someone who will truly listen, my goal is to provide a supportive, collaborative space where you feel heard, gain practical tools, and build lasting resilience
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress. Together, we explore how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected and develop practical strategies to improve coping, reduce symptoms, and create lasting change.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) focuses on helping clients develop psychological flexibility. Instead of struggling to eliminate difficult thoughts and emotions, ACT encourages acceptance of internal experiences while taking meaningful action aligned with personal values. This approach supports resilience and helps clients build a fulfilling life, even during challenging circumstances.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) provides evidence-based skills to strengthen emotional regulation, reduce impulsive behaviors, improve relationships, and tolerate distress. I often incorporate DBT techniques with clients experiencing intense emotions, anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, or difficulties with interpersonal boundaries.
Mindfulness is woven throughout treatment to help clients become more aware of their thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations without judgment. Mindfulness practices promote grounding, increase emotional awareness, reduce stress, and help clients respond thoughtfully rather than react automatically.
