My name is Lauren Dicks and I am an independently licensed social worker. I work as a clinical therapist and have 14 years of work experience in mental health. I prioritize diversity and enjoys working with all age groups. I am certified in herbal medicine and can offer education on herbal medicine as well as spiritual herbalism. I am also also certificated in EMDR therapy. A yogi, I do hold a 200 hr certification to teach yoga. I love people and I would enjoy the opportunity to work with you!
The first session would allow me to gather background information on how best to help you achieve your therapeutic goals such as family background, support systems, mental health symptoms your currently experiencing, mental health past, etc. This information helps me best understand how to help you achieve your goals in therapy.

Miss Lauren is one of the best counselors I ever had on a spiritual level. I have learned so many good things from her. She is so peaceful and just open minded and I love learning new things with her because I feel like I’m actually getting somewhere in my mental health.

Lauren has a gentle calming voice. You can tell she comes from a place of understanding when you are in session. I haven’t been to counseling in over 5 years and had not a good experience when trying to get back into it. But when I started with Lauren as my counselor she made the transition so much easier and totally worth it. Definitely recommend.

I’ve only had my intake session with Miss Lauren, but she has a very warm, comforting energy. It was very easy for me to talk to her and open up about the issues I’m having and what I’m seeking help with. I am looking forward to starting this journey with her.
