I enjoy creating safe spaces to share your thoughts. I have been working in the social work field for about six years. My experience working at an inpatient behavioral hospital has allowed me to witness when creating nonjudgmental spaces, healing begins. ost of my work has been focused working with adolescents, however I have experience working with adults. I n each session, I enjoy exploring your concerns, and together implementing interventions.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our initial sessions, we will focus on identifying your strengths and supportive system to help process the issues. We will meet weekly until we have reached your goals. I will discuss the therapy models I implement. The expectations I ask for therapy to be beneficial. We will make a decision together if we should move forward with therapy sessions.

My therapeutic approach has always been an integrative one. My approach is based on my client’s strengths and support system. With nine years of experience, I have built skills to assist in providing clinical insight.

I love working with adolescents and young adults who are overwhelmed with everyday life stressors. When we create a space where they feel understood, allows them to feel validated. My experience working with adolescents in an inpatient hospital has provided insight to their daily struggles and an empathetic approach.

Motivational Interviewing

In my nine-years of experience I have been able to develop skills when using this treatment method. I will support your effort to change and help identify discrepancies between your identified goals and values.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I have had the opportunity to work with adolescents and adults wanting to achieve their goals by visualizing how their life would look different. Through the use of solution focused therapy, we will establish goals and use them to define what steps needs to be achieved.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

We will focus for you to be aware of inaccurate or negative thinking so you can view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective way. We will learn and practice techniques such as relaxation, coping, resilience, stress management and assertiveness.
