First session
The first session would focus on getting to know what is bringing you to therapy, what a successful outcome would be, and to determine the course forward to achieve those goals.
Strengths
Although this sounds simplistic, I listen to you, really listen. I'm not crafting my response while you are talking, I'm still listening. This is your life and I need to understand what brought you here and where you'd like to go. And then, we set a plan together, based on your expressed needs, challenges and desires to secure the outcomes you are seeking.
Ideal clients
I love working with individuals who are ready to make changes in their day to day life, to achieve the goals that they desire. This could be an adult, overwhelmed with the reality of "adulting." It could be a parent, for who the reality of day to day parenting is not what it was cracked up to be. It may be the older adult, embarking upon that "next chapter" and struggling to find their stride in what is touted to be as the golden years.
