With many years of nursing experience across diverse healthcare settings, my true passion has always been supporting individuals facing mental health challenges. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in both medical and psychiatric environments—including inpatient units, outpatient clinics, community service centers, and correctional facilities—gaining a broad and practical understanding of mental health care. Providing effective mental, behavioral, and substance use treatment requires more than clinical knowledge—it demands the kind of insight and empathy that only come from real-world experience. As an Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, I bring both the expertise and the compassion needed to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those I serve.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I rely on evidence-based, patient-centered treatment methods to support individuals with a wide range of mental health conditions. A key component of care involves comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including diagnostic assessments, risk evaluations, and medication reviews. Medication management is often used to treat disorders such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychosis, ADHD, and substance use, with close monitoring of effectiveness, side effects, and patient response. In addition to pharmacologic treatment, I integrate psychotherapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and supportive therapy. These methods help patients manage symptoms, develop coping strategies, and make meaningful behavioral changes. Care is always trauma-informed, collaborative, and tailored to the individual’s goals and values. When appropriate, I incorporate holistic interventions—such as sleep hygiene, mindfulness, exercise, and nutrition—to support overall mental wellness. I also coordinate care with therapists, primary care providers, and community resources to ensure comprehensive and continuous support.
