LCSW, 23 years of experience
I am a caring and understanding listener who provides a safe space free of judgment or shame. I want to truly hear what is important to you, understand your perspective, and explore what brought you to therapy. My goal is to support you in working toward the changes and goals that matter most to you so you can feel happier and more fulfilled. I know that life’s journey can bring regret, guilt, or shame, and I am here to help you unburden those feelings and choose a new path—one that reflects your strengths, values, and hopes for the future. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 25 years and enjoy being a part of the process of helping someone find peace and fulfillment.
During our first few sessions, the focus will be on getting to know each other. You may do most of the talking, and I’ll ask some questions to better understand your story and begin shaping a plan that aligns with your goals. Meeting regularly is important so we can build a strong working relationship. After those first sessions, we’ll begin the deeper work together. It’s important to be patient with yourself—change can feel uncomfortable at times, but those feelings are usually temporary and often signal growth and positive change. Please never hesitate to bring up questions or concerns during our sessions. Over time, you’ll likely start noticing shifts in your thinking and changes in your behavior, which will gradually help resolve the issues that brought you to therapy.
My biggest strength is that I am someone who listens with understanding. We all go through journeys that may leave us with regret, guilt, or shame. My role is to support you in unburdening those feelings and in choosing a new path that brings you closer to peace, healing, and happiness.
Many people come to me feeling exhausted from trying to keep everyone else happy—whether it’s a family member, romantic relationship or someone in the workplace. It can feel overwhelming to speak up for yourself, set boundaries, or say “no” without guilt. With over a decade of experience in the field of addictions, I now focus on helping individuals create healthier relationships—with others and with themselves. Together, we can: Practice setting healthy boundaries through clear and caring communication—so you can share your feelings without the fear of letting others down. Discover and honor your own needs, creating space for more fulfilling and connected relationships. Learn to protect your peace by saying “no” with confidence, without carrying guilt or worry. Embrace your worth and step into a life that feels more balanced, authentic, and yours. You don’t have to do this alone—reach out today and let’s take the next step together.
