Welcome, I'm Shirell Bunch-Lipscomb, a mother of 4 and a grandmother to 3 children. I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who is committed to helping individuals and families overcome various challenges and heal from trauma, depression, anxiety, and self-esteem. My mission is to help you build stronger, more connected relationships while fostering emotional growth and resilience. My passion is also working with the youth populations and help guide them to become stronger individuals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

With my support, my clients are empowered to embark on a journey towards healing and transformation. As my client, you can expect a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can freely express yourself and explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I am committed to working with you to develop a tailored treatment plan that meets your unique needs and supports your goals. Take the first step towards a happier, healthier life by contacting me today.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I will listen carefully to your needs and desires, exploring your strengths, values, and motivations. By working as a team, we identify specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound. Throughout the process, I provide encouragement, support, and accountability to help my clients stay on track and achieve their goals, recognizing that the goal-setting process may evolve over time to accommodate changes in their needs and circumstances.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for many years. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.

EMDR

Is EMDR right for you? EMDR therapy can help you feel more calm in the face of traumatic memories and help prepare the healing process in order for you to move forward.
