New to Grow
I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I work with individuals facing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My work focuses on an intentional client-centered and strength-based approach. Because each person is unique, I utilize various modes of therapy. Focusing on growth is monumental to joining with individuals through interactive self-guided activities. I am experienced in the areas of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), oppositional and defiant behavior, anger, depression, anxiety, and trauma. My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to you. I draw from evidence-based methods like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) while also exploring the deeper patterns and experiences that shape how you think, feel, and relate to others.
During your initial session, we will complete a general intake form along with a service agreement form. Your first session will also be used to guide which direction you would like to go in first. Office hours are flexible to accommodate evening hours and weekends. Starting therapy doesn’t require having everything figured out. If something in your life isn’t working, that’s enough reason to begin. If you’re ready to take that step, I’d be glad to connect with you.
In our work together, you can expect a space that is supportive, honest, and grounded. I’m an active therapist—I’ll offer feedback, help you connect the dots, and work with you to build tools that create real, lasting change. At the same time, I respect your pace and what feels manageable for you. If you’re considering therapy, you don’t have to have a clear goal or a “good reason” to start. Curiosity, frustration, or simply wanting something to feel different is enough. We can figure the rest out together.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I work with individuals facing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, along with relationship and behavioral challenges. I also support individuals who are navigating trauma, life transitions, emotional overwhelming life circumstances. I am best positioned to serve individuals who are seeking a compassionate, culturally responsive, and results-oriented therapeutic space where healing, accountability, and personal growth can coexist. My practice supports clients in unpacking past experiences, building emotional resilience, improving communication, and developing healthier patterns so they can move forward with clarity, confidence, and intention.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to assist one with identify and change unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior. The focus is less on giving advice and more on helping one to become skilled at recognizing patterns, testing assumptions, and practicing new behaviors.
Grief Therapy
In practice, grief therapy focuses on supporting you through the natural grieving process rather than trying to "fix" or eliminate grief. The goals are to help clients process the loss, maintain a healthy connection to what has been lost, and gradually re-engage in meaningful life activities.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Solution-Focused Brief Treatment is a collaborative, goal-directed approach that emphasizes one's strengths, resources, and preferred future rather than focusing extensively on problems or their origins. The therapist works with clients to identify what is already working, clarify achievable goals, and build on existing successes to create meaningful change. SFBT is designed to be brief, practical, and future-oriented. It can be used as a primary treatment approach or integrated with other evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, or Mindfulness-based therapy.
