Hey there! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Texas. I received my Masters from Simmons University and have been practicing for 5 years. I help folks who struggle with anxiety, depression and issues of self esteem due to past traumas. I love helping people work through past experiences that are holding them back in the present, and grow in their faith in God.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In therapy I will start by getting to know you and develop an understanding of the challenges you want to work through. We will uncover what’s keeping you stuck, untangle and process the emotions weighing you down, and create a path toward lasting confidence and peace of mind. You will gain self-awareness and practical skills to care for your heart and mind, so that you can feel free, vibrant, and live in the fullness of life that God has for you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

The Lord has given me a heart for the brokenhearted and those who have no support. As someone who has wrestled through my own mental health journey, I truly understand how lonely the mental health journey can feel. Going to therapy was one of the best decisions I made early in life and The Lord truly used to bring much needed healing and growth. It is now my joy and privilege to help others in the way I once was.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

As a Christian counselor, I am best positioned to serve clients who desire to integrate their faith into the healing process. I work best with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, spiritual abuse, and trauma, providing a safe space to unpack their experiences and rediscover God’s truth and love. My ideas clients are those who are seeking freedom in Christ and desire to lean on God’s grace while also developing practical tools for growth.

My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

I use Christian counseling to help you explore how your faith and the truth of God's word can bring healing, restoration, and direction for whatever you're facing.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In our sessions, I use CBT to help you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected, so we can work together to make positive changes and feel better.

Attachment-based

I use attachment-based approaches to help you understand how your early relationships shape the way you connect with others now, so we can build healthier, more secure connections.

EMDR

I like to use EMDR with clients to help them process and heal from painful memories, so they no longer feel overwhelming and you can move forward with more peace.
