New to Grow
I am a licensed LMFT with over 15 years experience working with individual adults with depression, anxiety, trauma and life transitions. I work with clients to increase freedom and possibilities, and I utilize CBT and DBT modalities to uncover beliefs and patterns which no longer serve us. I work collaboratively with clients in a solution-focused modality to create positive change, and I assign homework weekly so that change occurs outside (and inside) therapy sessions.
An opportunity to share what brings them to therapy, what they would like to achieve in therapy, and an opportunity to ask the clinician any questions they may have.
I work collaboratively with clients in a solution-oriented modality where they are deeply heard. Assigning homework allows clients to quantify change in real-time.
Adult clients open to change and wanting to investigate what has worked for them, what has not worked for them and what is getting in the way. Clients who are open to sharing concerns and their goals, and who are open to investigating possibilities and choices for increased well-being. Clients who would like to work collaboratively over time with their clinician.
Assess presenting problems, ask questions to gain more clarity about how problems show up and get in clients way, discuss new ways to deal with the presenting problems and assign homework which is collaborative and mutually agreed-upon with client. Follow up with homework to see how client experienced it and if there was positive, neutral or negative change as a result during the week.
