I'm Joan Flynn, a licensed psychotherapist from Florida. I have been a licensed provider for 23 years and worked in several different settings including outpatient services and acute care hospitals. I'm originally from Massachusetts but have lived in Florida since 2004. I am familiar with many treatment strategies but most often use CBT and DBT as interventions. I truly enjoy what I do and look forward to meeting you.
After the first session I hope that you feel safe and that you can trust me with any and all information you want to share. As we go along you can expect suggestions based on treatment strategies designed to help you navigate whatever difficulties you are currently facing.

Joan is amazing. I've done 25+ years of therapy, and have had the good and the bad. She is by far one of the best I've ever had! I cried when I learned she was retiring! All good things must come to an end. Nothing but great things to say about this woman!
