I'm a psychiatric nurse practitioner with four years of experience in prescribing and over a decade of experience in the mental health field. I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and eating disorders in inpatient, outpatient, and community health settings. My primary focus is supporting patients with their mental health through education, medication management, and therapeutic conversation. In our sessions, my focus is on thoughtful medication management, paired with brief skill-building and exploration of non-medication strategies to help you manage symptoms more effectively. I believe in working collaboratively—empowering you to take an active role in your care and making decisions together around medication and treatment goals.
First sessions usually consist of a mental health evaluation where we discuss your psychiatric history, past medication trials, and what current mental health symptoms you are struggling with. We will then discuss medication recommendations and schedule our next follow-up appointment. I typically see patients every 1-3 months.
I am committed to patient-provider collaboration and transparent communication. I provide clear medication recommendations and support patients in building the confidence and skills to take charge of their mental health. I am an active listener who takes the time to understand patients’ concerns and explains treatment recommendations in a clear and approachable manner.
