New to Grow
Things can be so hard sometimes, but they can get better! I work with adults navigating grief, life transitions, relationship struggles, and the depression and anxiety so typical of our society in these times. People who are looking for a good listener, a place to explore their thoughts and emotions, and an opportunity to get a different perspective and possibly a much needed challenge will often find me to be a good fit. In addition to my years of experience and training as a therapist, I also bring life experience as a parent, a member of the LGBT community, and an ADHDer to my sessions.
Compassion, curiosity, and kindness are waiting for you here. I am genuinely interested in you - what fills you, what holds you back, what you need, and what we can do to move you that direction. I will never promise you that this will be easy, but there is a way to something better. After your first session, you should have a glimmer of hope and light that you are headed in the right direction.
Let's be clear: therapy is only going to be helpful if you have a good fit. It matters less what techniques and methods I use and more about if we just mesh well. I am bright, imperfect, funny, often forgetful (thanks ADHD and menopause!), but always real. I show up as authentically as possible to help you be your most real self.

Eclectic
I use a variety of methods based on the need of each person. I am trained and experienced in trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive therapy, internal family systems, humanistic, and psychodynamic treatments.
