Greetings, I am a Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse practitioner based in Ohio. I received my second Master's from Kent State University. I also have a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Walden University. I have been practicing for six years. I help populations that struggle with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, addiction, ADHD, borderline personality, schizoaffective, and substance abuse, to live the best life possible.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first session together there will be a brief introduction and then addressing the challenges they are faced with. I would have the patient explain their challenges and we would as a team, collaborate on a plan to put in place. The patient would be a partner in forming a relationship with the NP and coping strategies to direct their care.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength as a provider is my ease of making patients feel safe with me. Explaining to them that this is a joint relationship to help them overcome their challenges. Making the patient a part of directing their care with the instilling coping strategies that we as a team build on. I also have struggled with a mental illness of deprssion and anxiety. I share this with my patients so they can see I am a real person not just a provider.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with populations starting at the age of 6-99, who are struggling with addiction, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, anxiety, ADHD, conduct disorder, and depression. My goal is to build a therapeutic relationship with them to help them reach their goals through coping mechanisms and medication treatment if needed.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have used CBT as a therapeutic base for focusing on changing negative thinking and behavior patterns. This helps with anxiety, stress, and PTSD patients. I would use this to help patients identify thinking patterns, and help them reframe thoughts into a more realistic and balanced one. This also helps with behavioral strategies to avoid situations or create positive habits to break cycles of inactivity or avoidance. avoidance. I instill coping mechanisms to manage stressors, improve emotional regulation and resolve conflicts with the CBT method.
