I'm passionate about helping those with significant trauma and abuse stories to overcome and thrive after trauma. I'm a trauma survivor myself, I know what it takes day-in and day-out to find your peace, and awaken your higher self. I've been down this road many times, and I'm happy to carry the lantern as you find your path to healing.
I like to spend some time finding out your "why now", and "what led you here", followed by some time to allow YOU to decide whether I'm your person. Your ability to trust me, feel safe with me, is the most important aspect of therapy. If we align, I know I can help! I'm very goal-oriented with my clients, I want you to feel confident that as long as you do the work, you will be a different, more healed version of you, in the next 6 months. Let's get started!
I'm an existential therapist, which means I believe in order to find peace, we need to make meaning of our lives and our place in the universe. I hold the lantern as my clients heal by walking through what's happened to them, what that means, and finding empowerment in taking control of who they want to be, awakening their higher selves. This is depth work, shadow work, true alignment with your highest potential. This is the sacred art of healing, and its hard work, but I'm here to walk alongside you! I use a variety of treatment approaches and interventions to help you find your unique path to healing. Each of us is unique in our needs, values, strengths and challenges, but we each have a path to our own best selves. No two clients are the same, and I like to meet each client where there are.
I am here for the trauma survivors, seeking to learn how to thrive after all thats happened to them. Foster kids and former foster youth, adoptees, assault survivors, first responders, and those with childhood trauma. I am goal-oriented, I want you to be able to sat you are feeling better in your first 6 months with me. I align with those who want to do the work but need some support and guidance. I also love to support people on spiritual, not religious, journeys for meaning, although this is by request and never broached with those not seeking that kind of support.

Experienced our intake appointment and am already excited about working with Serena. I felt listened to, accepted and informed. Serena was kind, patient, and encouraging of all my goals while truly recognizing the details I shared with her. Despite my own research and studies on myself, she was able to bring up key factors I haven’t considered after only our first hour.
