About me

As an eclectic therapist, I specialize in guiding individuals through some of life’s most challenging and transformative experiences. I provide compassionate care for individuals wrestling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, or other mood and personality challenges. Whether addressing family conflict, parenting struggles, or the emotional weight of grief, I tailor my approach to foster resilience and healing. With a deep understanding of trauma, PTSD, and the unique struggles faced by women, the LGBTQIA+ community, and survivors of abuse, I offer a safe space for clients to heal and rediscover their strength.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first therapy session is an opportunity for us to determine if my approach aligns with your needs and if you feel comfortable working with me. Your emotional safety is my top priority. During this session, you will have the chance to share a brief background of your concerns and what you hope to gain from therapy. I will also answer any questions you may have about the therapeutic process and address any concerns. Beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to create a supportive environment that makes the process as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

For me, therapy is all about connection and reclaiming personal power—these are the tools I believe are essential to crafting a life that’s not just healthier but unapologetically your own. Whether your vision is unconventional or downright avant-garde, I champion the idea that everyone holds the power to build their own extraordinary world. My eclectic, no-one-size-fits-all approach fuses diverse therapeutic techniques, ensuring every client gets care that truly aligns with their story and aspirations. I am driven by the conviction that people are far stronger and more capable than they give themselves credit for. My goal is to unlock that strength, empowering clients to break boundaries and rewrite their lives on their terms.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

As a therapist, I am best suited to work with individuals who are open to exploring different approaches and perspectives, and who are willing to challenge patterns of thinking that may be keeping them stuck. My goal is to create a supportive and collaborative space where clients can develop new insights, build resilience, and make meaningful changes in their lives.

I have struggled finding a therapist that suits my personality. Judy really knows how to take a broader perspective to understand you as a whole. She then takes that into consideration to understand how she can be her best self in accordance with helping you to be yours as well. I also feel strongly supported and heard. She’s not afraid to tell me how it is while simultaneously respecting my feelings. I leave sessions feeling ready to take on the week working towards improving my mental health.
