(she/her)
I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker, based out of Florida. I received my Masters from Simmons University In Massachusetts, and I have been practicing for 6 years. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, life stress, chronic illness, and major life transitions, and I strive to provide a safe, inclusive space where you feel heard and supported. I look forward to working with you.
Your first therapy session is a chance for us to begin building a collaborative, trusting relationship. I’ll start by introducing myself and sharing a bit about how I work as a therapist. We’ll go over the informed consent process, review confidentiality and boundaries, and briefly discuss what future sessions typically look like. You’ll have the opportunity to tell me about yourself in whatever way feels most comfortable. We’ll explore what brought you to therapy, what challenges you’re currently facing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. You don’t need to have everything figured out—this first session is about getting to know each other, identifying your goals, and beginning to create a path forward. My role is to walk alongside you, providing guidance, tools, and support as we move toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard and understood. I’m a strong communicator, which helps me explain complex concepts in a way that’s clear and accessible. Equally important, I’m an empathetic listener—I strive to truly understand each person’s experience, which helps build trust and deepen the therapeutic relationship. I believe these strengths are foundational to effective, collaborative work and to helping clients feel supported as they move toward growth and healing.
As a mental health provider, I am best positioned to serve adults who are navigating anxiety, chronic stress, and life transitions—including those adjusting to new medical diagnoses or managing ongoing health conditions. I work especially well with individuals who are looking for a collaborative, culturally responsive approach to therapy and are ready to explore both their challenges and strengths. My practice is grounded in evidence-based care, and I tailor each treatment plan to the client’s unique background, values, and goals. I’m particularly attuned to clients who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward, and I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where they can find clarity, build resilience, and create meaningful change.
I use CBT as my primary approach in therapy because it focuses on how our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another. Using CBT we explore unhelpful patterns and build new tools to effectively manage challenges.
Mindfulness based therapy encourages the person to tune into the present moment, and address challenges with more clarity and calm. It assist with emotional regulation, stress reduction and self compassion.
I use Solution Focused Brief Treatment as a strength based approach to help identify goals, highlight what's already working, and taking small steps towards meaningful change. It helps with finding clarity and momentum, especially during times of transition or uncertainty.
