New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 10 years of experience helping individuals navigate challenges, achieve personal goals, and create meaningful change in their lives. I am passionate about helping people move through barriers, recognize their strengths, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves. I believe therapy should be both supportive and practical. My goal is to help clients better understand their mental health while building a personalized toolbox of coping skills and strategies that can support long-term growth and well-being. Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship changes, or feeling stuck, I strive to provide a compassionate, collaborative space where you can gain insight, build resilience, and move forward with confidence.
The first session is all about getting to know you. We'll talk about what has brought you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process. I'll ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and the areas of your life that feel most important to address. My goal is not to put you on the spot or expect you to share everything at once. Instead, we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you while beginning to build a trusting and collaborative relationship. By the end of our session, we'll have a clearer understanding of your goals and discuss how therapy can help you move toward the changes you want to make.
As a therapist, I bring warmth, compassion, and genuine curiosity to each session. I strive to create a nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported as they navigate life's challenges. One of my strengths is helping clients identify and build upon the strengths they already possess, even when those strengths may be difficult for them to recognize. I take a collaborative approach to therapy, working alongside clients to better understand their experiences, overcome barriers, and develop practical tools for lasting change. With over a decade of experience supporting individuals in achieving personal goals, I bring both empathy and a solution-focused perspective to the therapeutic process. I believe in balancing insight with action—helping clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves while also developing coping strategies they can use in everyday life. My goal is to help clients feel empowered, resilient, and confident in their ability to navigate challenges and create meaningful change.
A type of client that would be a good fit could include a client that is motivated for change but is feeling stuck. A client who is struggling with anxiety or depression or both and wants to work on building a toolkit to better manage these symptoms in a sustainable way. Clients who go through life changes and need support along the way, clients who have low self esteem and want to work on it further. Clients who wants to understand their own personal values and determine how to proceed in decisions. Clients processing a transition which involves the end of a relationship.
