Have you hit a bump in the road and feel emotionally stuck or as though you're moving through life in slow motion? Does your mind constantly race, leaving you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unlike yourself? If so, you're not alone—and you don't have to navigate these challenges on your own. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C), I am passionate about helping individuals overcome anxiety, depression, and other emotional challenges that may be impacting their daily lives. Whether you're struggling with a major life transition, toxic family relationships, grief and loss, or the effects of trauma, therapy can provide a space to heal, gain clarity, and move forward. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral (CBT), and solution-focused therapies to help you understand the underlying causes of your struggles while building practical skills for lasting change. Using a strengths-based perspective, we'll explore how past experiences have shaped your current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, empowering you to develop greater self-awareness and healthier ways of coping. You are the expert on your own life. My role is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment along with the clinical expertise to help you reach your goals and create meaningful, lasting change. My current practice is dedicated to supporting the mental health needs of individuals from racial and ethnic minority backgrounds. To align with this focus, I am currently accepting new clients who identify with these communities. I provide psychotherapy in both English and Spanish. ¡Hablo Español! Congratulations on taking the first step toward healing. I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
In our first session, we'll begin with brief introductions and spend time exploring the concerns that brought you to therapy. We'll discuss the challenges you're facing, as well as any questions, concerns, or hesitations you may have about the therapeutic process. Together, we'll identify your goals and begin developing a personalized treatment plan that will guide our work in future sessions.
I have extensive experience helping women navigate life's challenges and empowering them from adolescence through adulthood. Whether you're facing a major life transition—such as preparing for parenthood, adjusting to the postpartum period, relocating, reunifying with family, beginning a new relationship, or starting college—or struggling with toxic family dynamics, grief and loss, or the lasting effects of physical or sexual trauma, you don't have to face these challenges alone! These experiences can leave you feeling overwhelmed, hopeless, or stuck, but healing is possible. Together, we can work toward helping you feel more confident, connected, and empowered so you can move forward with greater clarity and purpose. I am a culturally responsive psychotherapist who values and affirms each person's unique identity, experiences, and strengths. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you feel seen, heard, and supported throughout your healing journey.
I enjoy working with women, adolescents, LGBTQ+ individuals, Latinx clients, immigrants, and people from diverse racial and ethnic minority communities. I also have a special interest in supporting individuals during the postpartum period as they navigate the emotional and practical adjustments that come with becoming a parent. My practice is grounded in cultural humility and provides an affirming, inclusive space where clients can feel safe, respected, and understood. I also love working with young professionals in the early stages of their careers. Many of my clients are highly motivated to grow and create meaningful change but feel they don't yet have the tools or confidence to move forward. They often experience anxiety related to societal, cultural, or family expectations, struggle with self-doubt or perfectionism, or feel overwhelmed by career decisions and major life transitions. Together, we work to build insight, develop practical coping strategies, and help them feel more confident, empowered, and aligned with the life they want to create.

My approach to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client's unique needs. While CBT provides practical strategies for changing unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, I also believe it's important to understand the experiences that have shaped those patterns. By combining CBT with insight-oriented and strengths-based approaches, I help clients develop self-awareness, improve coping skills, and make changes that align with their personal values and goals.
My psychodynamic approach focuses on understanding the deeper emotional patterns that shape how we relate to ourselves and others. I believe that many of our present-day struggles have roots in earlier life experiences, relationships, and unconscious beliefs. In a supportive and collaborative environment, we explore these patterns together, helping you gain insight into what may be keeping you stuck while developing healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and relating to others.
